There are
many ways to successfully use a Lowline
cow. Longtime customer and cattleman,
Gordon Lenhard from Colville, WA has a
complete understanding of how to
maximize efficiency when using Lowline
genetics in a cross breeding program.
Not only are the calves gigantic with
respect to their mothers' weight, the
cows are in excellent condition and no
doubt pregnant. The pictures say it all!
Here is an email from Gordon and
pictures he sent of his Lowline cross
calves:
"Neil,
I just took these pictures and thought you might want to see them. Both calves are out of my Angus bull, but the mothers are females I got from you. The mother of the bull calf is 186P, a 1/2 Midshipman daughter, and the heifers mom is Sasha 324S, the 3/4 Lexus daughter I got from you in Denver. I really feel that these are the kind of cows that the beef industry needs.
